More About TKO Automotive...

TKO Automotive opened its doors in 1998 as two highly skilled auto mechanics determined to start up their own business. As word spread, TKO's customer base spread very quickly.

Jerry and Steve started out with 2 hoists, no computers, and without any additional personnel. The business has evolved to now include 6 hoists, 3 mechanics, a service manager, tow truck driver, and of course, a computer system. In 2002, TKO went from a partnership to Jerry becoming the sole owner.

TKO has been a strong company ever since the early days. Our advertising has mainly been "word of mouth". Customers often ask to talk to "Jerry" because they feel they can trust his expertise and will be given a fair estimate for the work done.

In 2006, TKO hired two new employees. Silas Himes, a Master Certified Subaru Technician, is one of the only two in Upper Michigan. Silas came to TKO with several years of dealership experience under his belt. Many of his loyal Subaru customers have now found Silas at TKO. Silas also enjoys working on other makes and models.

Our other new employee is Mark Alexander, Service Manager. Mark comes to TKO with a wide variety of experience including years of service writer experience, and extensive knowledge of the auto repair business. His positive attitude and willingness to serve are assets to TKO's customers.

Keith Delarye, ASE Certified Technician, has been with TKO for several years. Keith works on all makes and models and takes extra care to make sure nothing is overlooked. TKO is happy to have such a dedicated, hard-working technician.

Keith Korbus is TKO's Tow Truck Driver. No matter what weather the U.P. might bring, Keith is there to help when your vehicle is in trouble on the road. He is especially busy in the winter, where break-downs are more frequent. When not on a tow, you may see Keith around the shop, helping the technicians when they need an extra hand. He might be on the road getting auto parts, or bringing customers to and from work while their vehicle is being fixed. Whatever the need, Keith is there enhancing the satisfaction for TKO's customers.

If you're in the Marquette area you may occasionally hear the radio jingle (recorded by Conga Se Menne) either on the radio or sung by the random passerby.
